Just when you think normal will return

and we will have peace,

Someone starts a movement to

Defund the police.

Defund the police !

Have we lost our minds ?

This is one movement every

criminal will get behind.

Are we to give up ball games

and evening walks in parks ?

Will America become a nation

whose citizens are afraid of the dark ?

Will our neighborhoods feel safe

and our communities protected ?

Do we really want to see security walls 

around our homes erected ?

Defund the police !

Now that my friend takes the cake.

Does anyone remember what 

made America great ?

This great nation is the home of the brave

and the land of the free.

Now you want me to stay up at night

fearing who is coming for ME ?

Defund our police !

Come on, give me a break !

Do you have any idea

what a great risk we would take ?

If we Defund our police

and there is none left to stand,

A wave of evil men will invade

our cities and pillage our land.

Are you ready to stay up

and guard your family at night ?

Are your children trained,

armed and ready to fight ?

Do you want to give up shopping

in your favorite stores ?

To order everything on line

and never go outdoors ?

Defund our police !

Not in this nation. 

We know there would be a 

rise in home invasions.

So rather than enroll your family 

in combat training,

Support our police, put on some blue

and start campaigning.

But as for me,

I'm standing with the blue.

The brave officers who put their life on the line

for me and you.
