"Be Patient !"

Psalm 40:1-3 "I waited patiently for the LORD; and HE inclined unto me, and heard my cry. HE brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And HE hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our GOD: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD."
It is not natural to be patient. We want things now, instantaneously ! When we are excited, we say, "I just can't wait !" No one is exempt from being impatient, so patience is truly a virtue. "The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit" (Ecclesiastes 7:8b). One reason why we grow anxious over delays is because we are not trusting in the LORD. In our pride, we want to be in charge and do not want to yield to GOD's timetable. We try to justify our hurried nature by equating waiting with weakness, but the Bible teaches otherwise. Scripture says, "For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of GOD, ye might receive the promise." (Hebrews 10:36 pictured above).
GOD commands us to be patient and wait. "Wait on the LORD be of good courage, and HE shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD" (Psalm 27:14). Those who wait will find blessing" "Blessed are all they that wait for HIM" (Isaiah 30:18). Believers in JESUS CHRIST are waiting for HIS soon return, but many are losing patience. However, CHRIST will, indeed, come again, and we all must be ready and waiting: "And the LORD direct your hearts into the love of GOD, and into the patient waiting for CHRIST" (2nd.Thessalonians 3:5 pictured above). "Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the LORD. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the LORD draweth nigh" (James 5:7-8).
Do Not Give Up ! Rather, "let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto JESUS . . ." (Hebrews 12:1-2 pictured above). PNF
