" None Other Name "

Acts 4:12  " Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be save. "
What do you think of the SAVIOR - JESUS the CHRIST ? Take a few moments to consider the amazing truth that is bound up in the person of CHRIST. HE is GOD manifested in the flesh (1st.Timothy 3:16) - the second person of the TRINITY. HIS death provided the wrath-removing sacrifice for the sin of the entire world (1st.John 2:2). HIS resurrection demonstrated that the sacrifice HE paid on Calvary was accepted by GOD the FATHER. After forty days of post resurrection ministry, JESUS was taken up to Heaven (Acts 1:9) and will again return to this planet - first, "in the air" to catch away HIS Bride, the church (1st.Thessalonians 4:13-18), and then later, upon the earth to personally judge the nations and establish HIS 1,000-year earthly kingdom (Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 19:1-20:6). In Revelation 19:16, CHRIST is designated as "KING of kings, and LORD of lords." In other words, the meek and lowly SAVIOR WHO willingly offered HIS life is returning in power and great glory, showing all creation, finally and definitively, WHO and WHAT HE really is !
The Apostle Paul stated what happens when that moment occurs: " That at the name of JESUS every knee should bow . . . and that every tongue should confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD, to the glory of GOD the FATHER " (Philippians 2:10-11). It is not merely the word JESUS that will cause people to so respond; rather, it is the recognition of WHO HE really is. HIS character - HIS virtuous person - will be obvious to them. They will recognize and acknowledge HIM for WHO HE is. HE is the ONE WHO died and rose again for us and is coming back for us. Today, take some time to contemplate WHO CHRIST really is. HE is worthy of our adoration and worship ! GDF
