"GOD Loves the Unborn"

                                                          GOD's VIEW ON LIFE

     The ALMIGHTY GOD HIMSELF refers to the unborn as literal human beings. In HIS OWN WORDs, HE stated that the virgin Mary ". . . was found with child of the HOLY GHOST." (Matthew 1:18) This verse refers to JESUS CHRIST when HE was still in Mary's womb.

     When speaking of the unborn baby, John, the Bible states, ". . . the babe leaped in her womb. . ." (Luke1:41) Refusing a helpless baby the right to be born is murder and is therefore against GOD's will. Proverbs 6:16-17 states, "These six things does the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto HIM: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood. . ."

                                                       THE CHOICE FOR LIFE !

     Friend, did you know that GOD's Holy WORD speaks of others who are unborn in a different kind of way ? However, these can choose to be born or not. In the Bible, JESUS explained this to a very moral and religious man named Nicodemus. "JESUS answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of GOD." (John 3:3) Thinking that JESUS was talking about a physical birth, "Nicodemus said unto HIM, How can a man be born when he is old ? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born ?" (John 3:4) JESUS' answer was that a man must have a second birth - a spiritual birth - to enter into the Kingdom of GOD. ". . . Except a man be born of water (the first birth from the mother's womb) and of the SPIRIT (from the WORD of GOD), he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD." (John 3:5) JESUS did not use the word "water" in this context to refer to water baptism; instead, HE is speaking of the human physical birth. JESUS reaffirms this meaning in verse 6, when HE said, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh (Physical Birth); and that which is born of the SPIRIT is spirit (Spiritual Birth)."

                                                    WHY A SECOND BIRTH ?

     According to the Bible, GOD said that Adam, the first man, would die the very day that he ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. GOD warned Adam, ". . .in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt surely die." (Genesis 2:17) And yet, Adam did not die a physical death that day. His death was a spiritual death, which passed upon all mankind. "Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12) All mankind has inherited spiritual death from Adam and must be "born again", as JESUS said, to have spiritual life.

                                                     GOD LOVES THE UNBORN !

     JESUS told Nicodemus how to be born spiritually in John 3:14-15: ". . .even so must the SON of MAN be lifted up: That whosoever believes in HIM should not perish, but have eternal life." Please notice that only belief in GOD is required for spiritual life, and it is nothing you can earn through doing good works. John 3:16 says, "For GOD so loved the world (the spiritually unborn), that HE gave HIS only begotten SON (to die on the cross), that whosoever believe in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life." GOD promised those who believe in HIM would have everlasting life, not a probationary life.

     If you have never been born again; you are spiritually unborn; but GOD loves you, and HE has made a way for you to become HIS Spiritual child. Friend, according to GOD's Holy WORD, you are a creation of GOD, but you are not considered a child of GOD until you are born of the SPIRIT. The only way that you can become a child of GOD is by putting your complete faith in JESUS CHRIST to save your soul. "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel. . . by which also ye are saved (born again), . . .For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that HE was seen. . ." 1st.Corinthians 15:1a,2a,3-5a. GOD makes this very clear in HIS Holy WORD. "For ye are all the children of GOD by faith in CHRIST JESUS." (Galatians 3:26) Think of it ! The very moment that you call on JESUS CHRIST, trusting HIM to save your soul, you are birthed into the Family of GOD and you are HIS child forever ! "But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on HIS name:" (John 1:12)

                                                      WHAT IS YOUR CHOICE ?

___ I choose to be born of the SPIRIT by completely trusting in JESUS CHRIST to save my soul forever. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised HIM from the dead, thou shalt be saved (born again)." (Romans 10:9)

___ I am content with being born once, and choose to remain spiritually unborn (dead). ". . .he that believes not the SON shall not see life; but the wrath of GOD abides on him." (John 3:36)

If you would like to call on the LORD to save you, and have the promise of everlasting life, pray this simple prayer or one like it with all your heart and receive CHRIST today.

LORD, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe that YOU died and rose again for me. I am trusting YOU to forgive me, come into my heart and save me. Help me to live for YOU always. In JESUS' name I pray, AMEN.

Being Spiritually born again and receiving the gift of everlasting life begins the moment we receive CHRIST as our personal LORD and SAVIOR.  The LORD JESUS said, " And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish" (John 10:28)

"How to Become a Christian"

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." Romans 10:13

1. Receive CHRIST as SAVIOR

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12

2. Receive CHRIST as the only way to GOD

"JESUS said unto him, I AM the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE: no man comes unto the FATHER, but by ME." John 14:6

3. Receive CHRIST as LORD

"For to this end CHRIST both died, and rose, and revived, that HE might be LORD both of the dead and living."

4. Receive CHRIST as MEDIATOR

"For CHRIST also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that HE might bring us to GOD." 1st.Peter 3:18

5. Receive CHRIST as Example

"For even hereunto were ye called: because CHRIST also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow HIS steps." 1st.Peter 2:21

7. Believe the Gospel

" The Blood, Man's Greatest Need "

 

                                                     MAN's GREATEST NEED

Sin has separated man from GOD. To be separate from GOD at death means to spend eternity in a Devil's Hell, because GOD will not excuse sin, and sin must be punished (paid for). Man is sinful, but GOD is Holy. The blood of JESUS CHRIST is GOD's way of meeting man's greatest need.

                                                 GOD's GREATEST SACRIFICE

GOD sent HIS SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, to die on the cross as the full payment for your sins: "WHOM GOD hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in HIS blood . . . " (Romans 3:25). Notice that it was GOD's plan, not man's: "WHOM GOD hath set forth . . ." Secondly, notice that CHRIST died to pay for our sins: ". . . to be a propitiation. . ." Finally, this verse states that forgiveness is obtained simply by trusting what JESUS has done: ". . . through faith in HIS blood. . ." Because of the blood, GOD can show mercy to sinners, yet still remain Holy and Just. ". . .that HE might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in JESUS." (Romans 3:26) The death, burial and resurrection of CHRIST is also called the Gospel, "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel . . . by which also ye are saved,. . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that HE was seen . . ." 1st.Corinthians 15:1a,2a,3-5a

                                           WHAT WILL JESUS' BLOOD DO ?

1. The blood washes and cleanses you from sin. ". . . Unto HIM that loved us, and washed us from our sins in HIS OWN blood," (Revelation 1:5) ". . . and the blood of JESUS CHRIST HIS SON cleanses us from all sin." (1st.John 1:7)

2. The blood pays for your forgiveness. "In WHOM we have redemption through HIS blood, the forgiveness of sins. . ." (Ephesians 1:7)

3. The blood makes peace with GOD. "And having made peace through the blood of HIS cross, by HIM to reconcile all things unto HIMSELF. . ." (Colossians 1:20)

4. The blood saved you from GOD's wrath. "Much more then, being now justified by HIS blood, we shall be saved from wrath through HIM." (Romans 5:9)

5. The blood opens the way to Heaven. "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of JESUS," (Hebrews 10:19)

                                                           WHAT MUST YOU DO ?

1. Admit your need. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD;" (Romans 3:23). "For I acknowledge my transgressions. . ." (Psalm 51:3). "For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin." (Psalm 38:18).

2. Trust GOD's promises completely. ". . . Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and thou shalt be saved. . ." (Acts 16:31). "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9). "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:" (1st.Peter 1:18,19)

3. Cry out to GOD in prayer. ". . . GOD be merciful to me a sinner." (Luke 18:13) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

                                                  YOUR GREATEST DECISION

JESUS shed HIS blood, was buried, and rose again the third day. At this moment HE stands ready, able, and willing to save you. The choice is yours. A song says, "If the blood of CHRIST is sufficient for GOD, it is surely sufficient for me." It is the blood that satisfies GOD.

Why not put your trust in CHRIST's finished work on the cross, and call on HIM for Salvation now ? "Wherefore HE is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto GOD by HIM, seeing HE ever lives to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7:25). ". . . JESUS CHRIST. . . loved us, and washed us from our sins in HIS OWN blood," (Revelation 1:5).  Don't wait, ". . . Behold, NOW is the accepted time, Behold, NOW is the day of Salvation. (2nd.Corinthians 6:2b), tomorrow is not promised to anyone !

You may ask, "How can I receive GOD's promise of Eternal Life ?"

Acknowledge that you are a sinner, "for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD" (Romans 3:23).

Believe that the LORD JESUS died for you, for "CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures" (1st.Corinthians 15:3).

Call upon the LORD to save you, "for whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).

" Genuine Repentance "

Psalm 51:1-19  "Have mercy upon me, O GOD, according to THY lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of THY tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against THEE, THEE only, have I sinned, and done this evil in THY sight: that THOU might be justified when THOU speak, and be clear when THOU judge. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, THOU desires truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part THOU shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop. and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which THOU hast broken may rejoice. Hide THY face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O GOD; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from THY presence; and take not THY HOLY SPIRIT from me.      King David had committed adultery with Bathsheba and was responsible for the death of her husband. Could he find forgiveness for such horrendous crimes against GOD ? Would the LORD cast him away as another moral casualty ? In a simple reading of the Psalm, it is clear that:

1. David sincerely confessed his sin, and

2. GOD forgave and cleansed David of his sin. David cried out for GOD's abundant mercies and grace, which were greater than his sin (v.1). He requested to be washed and cleansed from his sin that had defiled him (v.2). He did not blame his sin on Bathsheba or on someone else, but he took personal responsibility for his own actions (v.3). He acknowledged his sin as being ultimately against GOD and knew that GOD's judgment was always right (v.4). He knew that he was born with a sin nature and was therefore guilty (v.5). Yet that did not excuse him. GOD wants us to face the truth and be honest in confessing our sin (v.6). This is the only way to experience spiritual cleansing (v.7). It is the only way for restoration of joy and healing in broken relationships (v.8). GOD sees us as we really are, and only HE can blot out all our sins (v.9). Only GOD can do the impossible (vv.10-12). After cleansing and restoring David, GOD had a ministry for him, and HE has one for you as well (vv.13-15). You cannot approach GOD with ulterior motives. HE knows if you are playing games or are genuine. You cannot bribe HIM with outward "religious" acts. It is the "broken" and "contrite heart" that GOD accepts (vv.16-17). Only doing things GOD's way meets with HIS approval (vv.18-19). No sin is too great or appalling that GOD cannot cleanse and forgive. PNF

"We Preach Not Ourselves" Part# 2 of 2

2nd.Corinthians 4:1-7  "Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; but have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the WORD of GOD deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of GOD. But if our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world [the Devil] has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of CHRIST, WHO is the image of GOD, should shine unto them.

For we preach not ourselves, but CHRIST JESUS the LORD; and ourselves your servants for JESUS' sake. For GOD, WHO commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of GOD in the face of JESUS CHRIST. But we have this treasure [the Gospel] in earthen vessels [the child of GOD], that the excellency of the power may be of GOD, and not of us."

     Every believer should be grateful for the privilege GOD has given us to preach CHRIST as the only SAVIOR from sin. But did you ever realize how thankful we also should be that we can preach JESUS CHRIST - the perfect, sinless LAMB of GOD - and "not ourselves" (vs.5) ? Think how disappointed and disillusioned people would be if they trusted in us rather than JESUS CHRIST. The Apostle Paul realized this fact, and although he was a wonderful man of GOD, he knew that he and every other believe were but "earthen vessels" that GOD had designed to use in proclaiming the glorious message of Salvation by grace through faith in CHRIST alone (vs.7). People might have found fault with him, but they could find no fault in the ONE he declared.

     Now the fact that we preach JESUS CHRIST and not ourselves does not relieve us from the responsibility of seeking to be the best example possible in our daily walk before saved and unsaved alike. True believers certainly want the eyes of all people to be on JESUS, not on themselves; however, it is a sad reality that the careless conduct of so many professing believers today actually turns people away from CHRIST rather than to HIM. The content of the message becomes blurred by the bad conduct of the messenger. Our behavior (testimony) before others must "become sound doctrine" (Titus 2:1-8).

     Let us thank GOD that we can preach the LORD JESUS CHRIST and not ourselves. We must give earnest heed to "adorn the doctrine of GOD" (Titus 2:10), for so much is at stake. remember, one day we will stand before our LORD and give an account of how we accomplished this vital ministry committed to each child of GOD (2nd.Corinthians 5:14-21). " We Preach CHRIST Crucified " Part# 1 of 2

1st.Corinthians 2:1-5  "And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of GOD. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save JESUS CHRIST, and HIM crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the SPIRIT and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of GOD."

     The glorious power of the Gospel does not depend upon the abilities of those who proclaim it. GOD's blessing upon Paul's ministry was not because of who Paul was but, rather, WHOM Paul preached. Although the Apostle was well trained in man's wisdom before his conversion, he was no orator. While he was bold in the presentation of the gospel, his boldness was SPIRIT-given, not self-attained. The Gospel message should always draw attention to JESUS, WHO died for our sins and rose again for our justification; that was Paul's aim. Our text states that GOD's power and blessing, not our natural abilities, are required for ministry. If we were able to serve GOD aright apart from HIS enabling grace, then we could - and surely would - boast.

     Verse two demands special attention since its application is often misunderstood by those who find fault with Pastors who preach biblical separation and warn about false teachers. These individuals claim that that type of warning ministry violates this verse. Not so ! The example of Paul himself quickly reveals just how unscriptural such a position is. This text is saying that, in proclaiming the Gospel, we must preach only CHRIST and HIM crucified, which is a vital fact to emphasize in these days when so many different gospels are being preached (Galatians 1:8-9). Paul's ministry to the church at Ephesus (Acts 20:17-35), however, makes it clear that believers also need to receive continual warning about error. Those who preach a different message than that which is written in GOD's WORD are to be withstood at all costs (Jude 3). We must not only preach JESUS CHRIST to the unsaved, but we also are to proclaim all the counsel of GOD to believers. MHR

Are YOU Believing in an ACCURSED gospel ?

 

"What If YOU Had Been HERE September 11th.2001 ?"

A Day That Began Like Any Other Day !

     What if you had been in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 ? What would have happened to you ? You could have died, and you would have had to face GOD. "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" (Hebrews 9:27). You would have gone to Heaven or to a Devil's Hell forever. (Luke 16:22-23). If you had died on September 11th., do you know for sure that you would have gone to Heaven ? You can know ! To be sure you are on your way to Heaven, you must know four things.

     First of all, you must know that you are a sinner. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD;" (Romans 3:23). Sin is breaking GOD's law. It is doing something GOD said not to do, or not doing something GOD said to do. Sin is an offense against GOD. We are all in trouble with GOD, because we are all sinners.

     Secondly, you must know that the penalty for sin is death in a Devil's Hell. "For the wages of sin is death;" (Romans 6:23a). Many people feel that they will go to Heaven because they do more good than bad. Others believe that because they have been baptized, they will go to Heaven when they die. Still others are trusting in their church membership for eternal life. The Bible does not say that the wages of sin is good works, water baptism, or church membership. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death.

     Thirdly, you must know that the LORD JESUS CHRIST paid the full penalty for our sin. "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel . . . by which also yea are saved, . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that HE was seen of Cephas (Peter), then of the twelve:" (1st.Corinthians 15:1a,2a,3-5). Also, Scripture tells us, "But GOD declared HIS love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us." (Romans 5:8). JESUS CHRIST is the SON of GOD (John 3:16), GOD in the flesh (John 1:14). HE is as much GOD as if HE had never become man and as much man as if HE had never been GOD. After living a sinless life on this earth, the LORD JESUS went to the cross where HE bled and died for our sins. After 3 days and 3 nights in the grave, HE arose, proving that HE is GOD and that HE has power over sin, Satan, and death. The wages of sin is death, JESUS paid the wages of sin for us, for you.

     The fourth thing that you must know is that you need to accept HIS payment for your sin. "For the wages of sin is death; BUT the gift of GOD is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our LORD." (Romans 6:23). A gift is free. Eternal life is not anything we can earn, it is something we accept. Romans 6:23 gives us 2 choices. We can pay for our sin ourselves by dying and going to a Devil's Hell for all eternity, or we can accept GOD's free gift of eternal life and go to Heaven when we die. Romans 10:13 tells us how to accept GOD's wonderful gift of eternal life. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." To be saved, a person must be saved from something. If you were drowning, and someone threw you a rope, you would say that he had saved you from drowning. When you pray and trust the LORD JESUS CHRIST to forgive your sin and be your personal LORD and SAVIOR, HE saves you from the penalty of sin and an eternal death in a Devil's Hell.

     Will you trust the LORD JESUS CHRIST to be your personal LORD and SAVIOR ? Will you rely on HIM alone to forgive your sin and give you everlasting life in Heaven ? If so, say the following prayer with all your heart or one like it, placing your trust in HIM:

LORD, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe YOU died and rose again for me. I am trusting YOU to forgive me, come into my heart and save me. Help me to live for YOU always. In JESUS' name I pray, AMEN.

Remember, GOD's promise of eternal life is for all who come to JESUS by faith, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the SON of GOD; that ye may KNOW that ye HAVE eternal life, and that ye may believe in the name of the SON of GOD." (1st.John 5:13).
