" Indisputable Evidence "

1st.Corinthians 15:1-8  "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures:

And that HE was seen of Cephas (Peter), then of the twelve: after that, HE was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, HE was seen of James; then of all the Apostles. And last of all He was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time."

The Apostle Paul spends a great amount of time in today's text authenticating the truth of the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST from the dead. In fact, one half of our text is devoted to a practical defense of this miraculous event. Why did Paul elaborate on the reality of CHRIST's resurrection rather than HIS death ? The Apostle knew mankind would ridicule and scoff at the proclamation of JESUS' resurrection from the dead; therefore, the HOLY SPIRIT led him to remind the Corinthian believers that hundreds of men and women saw JESUS CHRIST firsthand following HIS death and burial.

One who either witnesses a crime or serves as an alibi for an accused criminal wields a great amount of power and influence in a court of law. The jury carefully considers the testimony of even one witness and consequently issues a verdict. Because GOD did not want any confusion or doubt to exist in the minds of men concerning the authenticity of the miraculous resurrection of HIS SON, HE allowed hundreds of witnesses to see the living body of the living MESSIAH - JESUS CHRIST. In fact, many of those witnesses were still alive when Paul wrote this letter to the Corinthian believers (v.6). Surely the presence of over 500 witnesses would put any doubts to rest !

What does the resurrection of JESUS mean to us today ? It means our faith is not in vain (v.14); it means we no longer need to be slaves to sin (v.17); it means we will rise again from the dead one day and receive glorified bodies (vv.20-22). The importance of the physical resurrection of CHRIST cannot be overstated. Yes, "I serve a risen SAVIOR, HE's in the world today; I know that HE is living, whatever men may say." MDC

" ABSOLUTELY FREE "

In this day and time, it's not often that someone offers an absolutely free gift. Yet here is the most wonderful and precious free gift especially for you ! It has already been paid for by someone else. Please read on to find out more.

This gift is ETERNAL LIFE in a glorious   H E A V E N.

It is difficult for men to accept the thought of this being a free gift. Man wants to "do" something to be forgiven or to earn everlasting life.

The Holy Bible says: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD: Not of works lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) The Bible says: ". . .the gift of GOD is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our LORD." (Romans 6:23b)

A gift is not something we earn or work for. We receive gifts out of love. In fact, "GRACE" means: "Unmerited, or unearned favor."  If we work for something, it is no longer a gift, but a wage.

There is only one spiritual wage a person can obtain . . .

The wages of sin is death.
"For the wages of sin is death. . ." (Romans 6:23a)
". . .and sin, when it is finished brings forth death." (James 1:15b)
"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not GOD, and that obey not the Gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST:" (2nd.Thessalonians 1:8)

We earn death in a Devil's Hell, but GOD gives us Heaven through JESUS CHRIST !

The LORD JESUS CHRIST paid for this gift with HIS own dear shed blood on the cross. "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel. . .by which also ye are saved, . . .For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:" (1st.Corinthians 15:1a,2a,3-4)  ". . .without the shedding of blood is no remission [of sin]." (Hebrews 9:22b)  ". . .the blood of JESUS CHRIST HIS SON cleanses us from all sin." (1st.John 1:7b) "But GOD commends HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us." (Romans 5:8)

Receive this absolutely free gift TODAY ! Come to GOD in humble prayer, admit your guilt as a sinner before an all Holy GOD, repent (turn to GOD from your sin by faith), asking GOD to save you through the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Pray this simple prayer or one like with all your heart:

LORD, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe YOU died and rose again for me. I am trusting YOU to forgive me and to come into my heart and life and save me. Help me to live for YOU always. In JESUS' name I pray, AMEN.

"But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on HIS name:" (John 1:12)  "Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward GOD, and faith toward our LORD JESUS CHRIST." (Acts 20:21)  "For whosoever (means YOU !) shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)  ". . .BEHOLD ! now is the accepted time; BEHOLD ! now is the day of Salvation." (2nd.Corinthians 6:2b)

Everlasting life begins when we receive CHRIST as our personal LORD and SAVIOR. The LORD JESUS said, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish" (John 10:28)

" GOD's Message to YOU "

You will never hear a greater message than the one contained herein ~ GOD's Message ~ to YOU !

THE BIBLE DECLARES. . .
1. ALL HAVE SINNED
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD;" Romans 3:23
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it ?" Jeremiah 17:9
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on HIM (JESUS) the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:6

THE BIBLE DECLARES. . .
2. SIN'S PENALTY
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of GOD is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our LORD." Romans 6:23
"And Death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the Second death." Revelation 20:14

THE BIBLE DECLARES. . .
3. SINS'S PENALTY WAS PAID IN FULL
"But GOD commended (showed) HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us." Romans 5:8
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel. . .by which also ye are saved, . . .For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" 1st.Corinthians 15:1a,2a,3-4
"For CHRIST also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that HE might bring us to GOD, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened (to make alive) by the SPIRIT:" 1st.Peter 3:18

THE BIBLE DECLARES. . .
4. WE MUST REPENT (Turn to GOD from our sin)
"For Godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world works death." 2nd.Corinthians 7:10
"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD and HE will have mercy upon him; and to our GOD, for HE will abundantly pardon." Isaiah 55:7

IF we are truly sorry for our sins and willing
to turn from them, we can be saved.

THE BIBLE DECLARES. . .
5. WE MUST RECEIVE CHRIST
"But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on HIS name:" John 1:12

We need to exercise our faith by receiving JESUS as our personal LORD and SAVIOR. Faith and repentance are both necessary for Salvation.

THE BIBLE DECLARES. . .
6. YOU CAN BE SAVED TODAY, IF YOU WANT TO BE
"GOD be merciful to me a sinner." Luke 18:13b
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised HIM from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." Romans 10:13

                                                 GOD LOVES YOU AND WANTS
                                                    YOU TO EXPERIENCE PEACE
                                                     AND ETERNITY IN HEAVEN
                                                                           WITH HIM.

I hope you noticed the title to this post, "GOD's MESSAGE to YOU." Scripture is GOD's WORD - HIS message to us - and not our "theory." I pray that after reading these six thoughts from GOD's WORD that you believe the message GOD has given to us. HE gives free pardon of sin, and a "know-so" Salvation. You don't have to hope that GOD will save you, or hope that someday you will go to Heaven. The Bible says in 1st.John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the SON Of GOD; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the SON of GOD."

DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU'RE GOING WHEN YOU DIE ?

WHAT YOU MUST DO:
1. Admit your need (I am a sinner).
2. Be willing to turn to GOD from your sin (Repent).
3. Believe that JESUS CHRIST died for you on the cross and rose again.
4. Through prayer, invite JESUS to come into your heart and life to forgive you (Receive HIM as your personal LORD and SAVIOR).

Please pray this simple prayer or one like it:

LORD, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe that YOU died and rose again for me. I am trusting YOU to forgive me, come into my heart and life and save me. Help me to live for you always. In JESUS' name I pray, AMEN.

" Who is the REAL BIBLICAL JESUS ? "

Many men have been given the name "Jesus." In Bible times, the naming of children was more serious than today. Today, parents name their child after a loved one or friend, or perhaps a name they think is pretty. In Bible times, children were given names which related to certain things, especially those in reference to GOD. The Apostle Paul warned in 2nd.Corinthians 11:4 about the possibility of another Jesus being preached. We desire to present unto you the JESUS of the Bible. No person except JESUS CHRIST could fulfill the meaning of the name "Jesus," because of WHO and WHAT HE IS.

HE Is the SON Of GOD.

". . . The HOLY GHOST shall come upon thee, and the power of the HIGHEST shall overshadow thee: therefore also that HOLY THING which shall be born of thee shall be called the SON Of GOD." (Luke 1:35) "For GOD so loved the world, that He gave HIS only begotten SON, that whosoever believes in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life. For GOD sent not HIS SON into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through HIM might be saved." (John 3:16-17) HE also is GOD the SON ! "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. . .And the WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us. . ." (John 1:1,14) "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD was manifest in the flesh. . ." (1st.Timothy 3:16)

                                                  HE Is the Sacrifice Demanded.

HE is the only one GOD would accept. The Old Testament sets forth the principle that the only means of acceptance with GOD is through sacrifice. ". . .we are sanctified through the offering of the body of JESUS CHRIST once for all. And every Priest stands daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this MAN, after HE had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of GOD:" (Hebrews 10:10-12) This implies that HIS work as Priest is accepted and HIS sacrifice is complete !

                                                            HE Is the SUBSTITUTE.

When our first parents willfully disobeyed the LORD, they lost their position and privilege of relationship with HIM. Thus, Adam brought the consequences of that disobedience upon himself and all his lineage; for Adam's lineage was begotten in his image, the image of the disobedient -- the offender. (Genesis 5:3)
Therefore, something or someone else must suffer the consequences of that disobedience in order for restoration to that standing prior to the act of disobedience. It could not be them (first parents) because they were guilty and the consequence of that guiltiness was death. (Genesis 2:17) The sufferer for the offence must be innocent of any offence before it (HE) could suffer in behalf of another. It is said of JESUS, "WHO did no sin, neither was guile found in HIS mouth. . .but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." (1st.Peter 2:22; Hebrews 4:15)
GOD in HIS mercy made Adam and Eve coats of skins, and clothed them, which implies the slaying of an animal. (Genesis 3:21) Not only was there the dying, but the shedding of blood as well. This was all a type of JESUS CHRIST, WHO would be killed and HIS blood shed for offenders (sinners). Many animals died throughout the Old Testament era in behalf of an offender of GOD's Law. The author of Hebrews tells us, "For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. . .Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by HIS OWN blood HE (JESUS) entered in once into the Holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." (Hebrews 10:4; 9:12)

                                                               HE Is the SAVIOR.

The name JESUS means "salvation of GOD," or "GOD our SAVIOR." When the angel informed Joseph that the CHILD his espoused wife Mary was to give birth to was to be named "JESUS" (Matthew 1:20-21), more was involved than the mere naming of a child: "for HE (JESUS) shall save HIS people from their sins." Every person whom GOD saves, HE saved through this name. JESUS said, ". . . I AM the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE: no man comes unto the FATHER, but by ME." (John 14:6) "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12) "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel. . .by which also ye are saved, . . .For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:" (1st.Corinthians 15:1a, 2a, 3-4)

Dear Friend, just think of that which GOD has done in giving JESUS to die in your place, that you as the offender (sinner) might be forgiven your offenses. Will you realize your need of the LORD JESUS CHRIST ? Will you recognize yourself to be a sinner in need of a SAVIOR and under the consequence (condemnation) of sin ? the Apostle Paul said, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS , and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised HIM from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9) Will you repent (turn to JESUS from your sin) ? Will you receive HIM as your personal sacrifice, substitute, LORD and SAVIOR ? If so, please pray this simple prayer or one like it:

LORD, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe YOU died and rose again for me. I am trusting YOU to forgive me, come into my heart and save me. Help me to live for YOU always. In JESUS' name I pray, AMEN.

JESUS said, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of MY hand." (John 10:28)

" The Declaration "

"In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. The same was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made. In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from GOD, whose name was John (the Baptist). The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the LIGHT, that all men through him might believe. He was not that LIGHT, but was sent to bear witness of the LIGHT. That was the true LIGHT, which lights every man that comes into the world. HE was in the world, and the world knew HIM not. HE came unto HIS own, and HIS own received HIM not. But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on HIS name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of GOD. And the WORD became flesh (JESUS), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the FATHER,) full of grace and truth.

John bare witness of HIM, and cried, saying, This was HE of whom I spoke, HE that comes after me is preferred before me: for HE was before me. And of HIS fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the Law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by JESUS CHRIST. No man has seen GOD at any time; the only begotten SON, which is in the bosom of the FATHER, HE has declared HIM."  John 1:1-18

" Incomparable Peace "

Philippians 4:6-7  "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto GOD. And the peace of GOD, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through CHRIST JESUS."

The LORD promises incomparable peace - peace that passes understanding ! Is that not amazing ? But what does it mean, and how do we have it, especially when the bottom seems to have dropped out from our world and we find ourselves reeling from the news that bombards us each day and from the dangers that escalate almost moment by moment ? In writing to the believers in Philippi, the Apostle Paul provided a list of three components that comprise a formula for experiencing the "peace of GOD." they are, according to verse six: "Do not worry, pray about everything, and be thankful for anything." These are such simple rules, and yet we so often short-circuit the process, causing us to live in fear rather than in GOD's available peace.

Let us look at the three elements for a moment. First: Do Not Worry - worry is accepting responsibility that GOD never intended us to have. Conscious, deliberate refusal to trouble ourselves over what is not our responsibility must be our reply to the various troubles of life. YOU cannot fix them, but GOD can. Second: Pray about everything - yes, everything. Nothing is too small, too insignificant, too petty to take to our heavenly FATHER nor nothing too large to cast upon HIM (1st.Peter 5:7). Third, Be thankful for anything. If something comes from the hand of GOD or is tempered by the heart of GOD, then it is for your good - thank HIM that HE has a purpose in it; thank HIM for keeping you in the midst of the trouble; thank HIM that HE will see you through. Let the LORD's spiritual military guard "keep your hearts and minds through CHRIST JESUS" (v.7) and experience HIS peace that goes beyond human comprehension. JED

"GOD Loves the Unborn"

                                                          GOD's VIEW ON LIFE

The ALMIGHTY GOD HIMSELF refers to the unborn as literal human beings. In HIS OWN WORDs, HE stated that the virgin Mary ". . . was found with child of the HOLY GHOST." (Matthew 1:18) This verse refers to JESUS CHRIST when HE was still in Mary's womb.

When speaking of the unborn baby, John, the Bible states, ". . . the babe leaped in her womb. . ." (Luke1:41) Refusing a helpless baby the right to be born is murder and is therefore against GOD's will. Proverbs 6:16-17 states, "These six things does the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto HIM: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood. . ."

                                                       THE CHOICE FOR LIFE !

Friend, did you know that GOD's Holy WORD speaks of others who are unborn in a different kind of way ? However, these can choose to be born or not. In the Bible, JESUS explained this to a very moral and religious man named Nicodemus. "JESUS answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of GOD." (John 3:3) Thinking that JESUS was talking about a physical birth, "Nicodemus said unto HIM, How can a man be born when he is old ? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born ?" (John 3:4) JESUS' answer was that a man must have a second birth - a spiritual birth - to enter into the Kingdom of GOD. ". . . Except a man be born of water (the first birth from the mother's womb) and of the SPIRIT (from the WORD of GOD), he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD." (John 3:5) JESUS did not use the word "water" in this context to refer to water baptism; instead, HE is speaking of the human physical birth. JESUS reaffirms this meaning in verse 6, when HE said, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh (Physical Birth); and that which is born of the SPIRIT is spirit (Spiritual Birth)."

                                                    WHY A SECOND BIRTH ?

According to the Bible, GOD said that Adam, the first man, would die the very day that he ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. GOD warned Adam, ". . .in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt surely die." (Genesis 2:17) And yet, Adam did not die a physical death that day. His death was a spiritual death, which passed upon all mankind. "Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12) All mankind has inherited spiritual death from Adam and must be "born again", as JESUS said, to have spiritual life.

                                                     GOD LOVES THE UNBORN !

JESUS told Nicodemus how to be born spiritually in John 3:14-15: ". . .even so must the SON of MAN be lifted up: That whosoever believes in HIM should not perish, but have eternal life." Please notice that only belief in GOD is required for spiritual life, and it is nothing you can earn through doing good works. John 3:16 says, "For GOD so loved the world (the spiritually unborn), that HE gave HIS only begotten SON (to die on the cross), that whosoever believe in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life." GOD promised those who believe in HIM would have everlasting life, not a probationary life.
If you have never been born again; you are spiritually unborn; but GOD loves you, and HE has made a way for you to become HIS Spiritual child. Friend, according to GOD's Holy WORD, you are a creation of GOD, but you are not considered a child of GOD until you are born of the SPIRIT. The only way that you can become a child of GOD is by putting your complete faith in JESUS CHRIST to save your soul. "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel. . . by which also ye are saved (born again), . . .For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that HE was seen. . ." 1st.Corinthians 15:1a,2a,3-5a. GOD makes this very clear in HIS Holy WORD. "For ye are all the children of GOD by faith in CHRIST JESUS." (Galatians 3:26) Think of it ! The very moment that you call on JESUS CHRIST, trusting HIM to save your soul, you are birthed into the Family of GOD and you are HIS child forever ! "But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on HIS name:" (John 1:12)

                                                      WHAT IS YOUR CHOICE ?

___ I choose to be born of the SPIRIT by completely trusting in JESUS CHRIST to save my soul forever. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised HIM from the dead, thou shalt be saved (born again)." (Romans 10:9)

___ I am content with being born once, and choose to remain spiritually unborn (dead). ". . .he that believes not the SON shall not see life; but the wrath of GOD abides on him." (John 3:36)

If you would like to call on the LORD to save you, and have the promise of everlasting life, pray this simple prayer or one like it with all your heart and receive CHRIST today.

LORD, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe that YOU died and rose again for me. I am trusting YOU to forgive me, come into my heart and save me. Help me to live for YOU always. In JESUS' name I pray, AMEN.

Being Spiritually born again and receiving the gift of everlasting life begins the moment we receive CHRIST as our personal LORD and SAVIOR.  The LORD JESUS said, " And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish" (John 10:28)

" The Blood, Man's Greatest Need "

                                                     MAN's GREATEST NEED

Sin has separated man from GOD. To be separate from GOD at death means to spend eternity in a Devil's Hell, because GOD will not excuse sin, and sin must be punished (paid for). Man is sinful, but GOD is Holy. The blood of JESUS CHRIST is GOD's way of meeting man's greatest need.

                                                 GOD's GREATEST SACRIFICE

GOD sent HIS SON, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, to die on the cross as the full payment for your sins: "WHOM GOD hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in HIS blood . . . " (Romans 3:25). Notice that it was GOD's plan, not man's: "WHOM GOD hath set forth . . ." Secondly, notice that CHRIST died to pay for our sins: ". . . to be a propitiation. . ." Finally, this verse states that forgiveness is obtained simply by trusting what JESUS has done: ". . . through faith in HIS blood. . ." Because of the blood, GOD can show mercy to sinners, yet still remain Holy and Just. ". . .that HE might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in JESUS." (Romans 3:26) The death, burial and resurrection of CHRIST is also called the Gospel, "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel . . . by which also ye are saved,. . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that HE was seen . . ." 1st.Corinthians 15:1a,2a,3-5a

WHAT WILL JESUS' BLOOD DO ?

1. The blood washes and cleanses you from sin. ". . . Unto HIM that loved us, and washed us from our sins in HIS OWN blood," (Revelation 1:5) ". . . and the blood of JESUS CHRIST HIS SON cleanses us from all sin." (1st.John 1:7)

2. The blood pays for your forgiveness. "In WHOM we have redemption through HIS blood, the forgiveness of sins. . ." (Ephesians 1:7)

3. The blood makes peace with GOD. "And having made peace through the blood of HIS cross, by HIM to reconcile all things unto HIMSELF. . ." (Colossians 1:20)

4. The blood saved you from GOD's wrath. "Much more then, being now justified by HIS blood, we shall be saved from wrath through HIM." (Romans 5:9)

5. The blood opens the way to Heaven. "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of JESUS," (Hebrews 10:19)

                                                           WHAT MUST YOU DO ?

1. Admit your need. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD;" (Romans 3:23). "For I acknowledge my transgressions. . ." (Psalm 51:3). "For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin." (Psalm 38:18).

2. Trust GOD's promises completely. ". . . Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and thou shalt be saved. . ." (Acts 16:31). "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9). "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:" (1st.Peter 1:18,19)

3. Cry out to GOD in prayer. ". . . GOD be merciful to me a sinner." (Luke 18:13) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

                                                  YOUR GREATEST DECISION

JESUS shed HIS blood, was buried, and rose again the third day. At this moment HE stands ready, able, and willing to save you. The choice is yours. A song says, "If the blood of CHRIST is sufficient for GOD, it is surely sufficient for me." It is the blood that satisfies GOD.

Why not put your trust in CHRIST's finished work on the cross, and call on HIM for Salvation now ? "Wherefore HE is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto GOD by HIM, seeing HE ever lives to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7:25). ". . . JESUS CHRIST. . . loved us, and washed us from our sins in HIS OWN blood," (Revelation 1:5).  Don't wait, ". . . Behold, NOW is the accepted time, Behold, NOW is the day of Salvation. (2nd.Corinthians 6:2b), tomorrow is not promised to anyone !

" The Gospel "

GOD Loves You and HE has a Plan and a Purpose for Your Life !

John 3:16, "For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON, that whosoever believes in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life."
2nd.Peter 3:9, "The LORD is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
                                                   We Are ALL Sinners

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD;"
Romans 5:12, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"
Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of GOD is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our LORD."

                                             CHRIST Died for Our Sins

Romans 5:8, "But GOD commended HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us."
2nd.Corinthians 5:21, "For HE hath made HIM to be sin for us, WHO knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of GOD in HIM."
1st.Corinthians 15:1a,2a,3-4, "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel . . . by which also ye are saved, . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures: and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:"
1st.Peter 1:18-19, ". . . Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things . . . but with the precious blood of CHRIST:"

CHRIST Rose From the Grave and Offers Forgiveness to All

Romans 10:9, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised HIM from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved."
Isaiah 1:18, ". . . Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

You may ask, "How can I receive GOD's promise of Eternal Life ?"

Acknowledge that you are a sinner, "for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD" (Romans 3:23).

Believe that the LORD JESUS died for you, for "CHRIST died for our sins according to the Scriptures" (1st.Corinthians 15:3).

Call upon the LORD to save you, "for whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).

If you would like to call on the LORD to save you, and have the promise of everlasting life, pray this simple prayer or one like it  and receive CHRIST today:

LORD, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe YOU died and rose again for me. I am trusting YOU to forgive me, come into my heart and save me. Help me to live for YOU always. In JESUS' name I pray, AMEN.

Everlasting life begins when we receive CHRIST as our SAVIOR. The LORD JESUS said, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish" (John 10:28).

There is New Life for the Believer. He is to Grow & Go Tell Others.

John 14:19b, ". . . because I live, ye shall live also."
2nd.Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in CHRIST, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
Mark 16:15 "And HE said unto them, GO ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature."

                                              Now that you're a Christian:

* Share your new-found faith with your family & friends (Acts 16:31-33).

* Identify with CHRIST through believer's baptism and become part of a local Bible-believing church (Acts 2:41, 47).

" Genuine Repentance "

Psalm 51:1-19  "Have mercy upon me, O GOD, according to THY lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of THY tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against THEE, THEE only, have I sinned, and done this evil in THY sight: that THOU might be justified when THOU speak, and be clear when THOU judge. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, THOU desires truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part THOU shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop. and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which THOU hast broken may rejoice. Hide THY face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O GOD; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from THY presence; and take not THY HOLY SPIRIT from me. Restore unto me the joy of THY salvation; and uphold me with THY free SPIRIT. Then will I teach transgressors THY ways; and sinners shall be converted unto THEE.

Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O GOD, THOU GOD of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of THY righteousness. O LORD, open THOU my lips; and my mouth shall show forth THY praise. For THOU desires not sacrifice; else would I give it; THOU delights not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of GOD are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O GOD, THOU wilt not despise. Do good in THY good pleasure unto Zion: build THOU the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt THOU be please with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall thy offer bullocks upon THINE altar."

King David had committed adultery with Bathsheba and was responsible for the death of her husband. Could he find forgiveness for such horrendous crimes against GOD ? Would the LORD cast him away as another moral casualty ? In a simple reading of the Psalm, it is clear that:
1. David sincerely confessed his sin, and
2. GOD forgave and cleansed David of his sin. David cried out for GOD's abundant mercies and grace, which were greater than his sin (v.1). He requested to be washed and cleansed from his sin that had defiled him (v.2). He did not blame his sin on Bathsheba or on someone else, but he took personal responsibility for his own actions (v.3). He acknowledged his sin as being ultimately against GOD and knew that GOD's judgment was always right (v.4). He knew that he was born with a sin nature and was therefore guilty (v.5). Yet that did not excuse him. GOD wants us to face the truth and be honest in confessing our sin (v.6). This is the only way to experience spiritual cleansing (v.7). It is the only way for restoration of joy and healing in broken relationships (v.8). GOD sees us as we really are, and only HE can blot out all our sins (v.9). Only GOD can do the impossible (vv.10-12). After cleansing and restoring David, GOD had a ministry for him, and HE has one for you as well (vv.13-15). You cannot approach GOD with ulterior motives. HE knows if you are playing games or are genuine. You cannot bribe HIM with outward "religious" acts. It is the "broken" and "contrite heart" that GOD accepts (vv.16-17). Only doing things GOD's way meets with HIS approval (vv.18-19). No sin is too great or appalling that GOD cannot cleanse and forgive. PNF

"We Preach Not Ourselves" Part# 2 of 2

2nd.Corinthians 4:1-7  "Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; but have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the WORD of GOD deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of GOD. But if our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world [the Devil] has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of CHRIST, WHO is the image of GOD, should shine unto them.

For we preach not ourselves, but CHRIST JESUS the LORD; and ourselves your servants for JESUS' sake. For GOD, WHO commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of GOD in the face of JESUS CHRIST. But we have this treasure [the Gospel] in earthen vessels [the child of GOD], that the excellency of the power may be of GOD, and not of us."

Every believer should be grateful for the privilege GOD has given us to preach CHRIST as the only SAVIOR from sin. But did you ever realize how thankful we also should be that we can preach JESUS CHRIST - the perfect, sinless LAMB of GOD - and "not ourselves" (vs.5) ? Think how disappointed and disillusioned people would be if they trusted in us rather than JESUS CHRIST. The Apostle Paul realized this fact, and although he was a wonderful man of GOD, he knew that he and every other believe were but "earthen vessels" that GOD had designed to use in proclaiming the glorious message of Salvation by grace through faith in CHRIST alone (vs.7). People might have found fault with him, but they could find no fault in the ONE he declared.

Now the fact that we preach JESUS CHRIST and not ourselves does not relieve us from the responsibility of seeking to be the best example possible in our daily walk before saved and unsaved alike. True believers certainly want the eyes of all people to be on JESUS, not on themselves; however, it is a sad reality that the careless conduct of so many professing believers today actually turns people away from CHRIST rather than to HIM. The content of the message becomes blurred by the bad conduct of the messenger. Our behavior (testimony) before others must "become sound doctrine" (Titus 2:1-8).

Let us thank GOD that we can preach the LORD JESUS CHRIST and not ourselves. We must give earnest heed to "adorn the doctrine of GOD" (Titus 2:10), for so much is at stake. remember, one day we will stand before our LORD and give an account of how we accomplished this vital ministry committed to each child of GOD (2nd.Corinthians 5:14-21).
