" Indefatigable (Relentless) ! "

2nd.Corinthians 11:1-4 "Would to GOD ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to CHRIST. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in CHRIST. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesu whom ye have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."
The enemy of our soul (Satan) is indefatigable, unrelenting in his desire to turn mankind aside to another Jesus, another spirit, and another gospel other than that which is presented in GOD's WORD. Commenting on verse four of today's text, John Wesley remarked: "If indeed any could show you another savior, a more powerful spirit, a better gospel, ye might well bear with him - but this is impossible." Yet we find ourselves enmeshed in a critical battle for truth. Satan has plenty of help according to Ephesians 6:12, pictured above, ("principalities," "powers," "rulers of the darkness of this world," "spiritual wickedness in high places"), and he is proficient in blinding the minds of "them which believe not" (2nd.Corinthians 4:4). Every day brings new onslaughts against the WORD of GO and the CHRIST of the Bible as the world seeks to present "another Jesus" who fits within the scope of man's ideas. You may have recently seen and expensive Super Bowl commercial, paid for by anonymous donors, titled "He Gets Us" in which the sponsoring group presents a human Jesus. The commercial emphasizes the humanity of Jesus to the extent that HIS divinity and HIS reason for coming to Earth are ignored. JESUS came to redeem us from sin, not to set a good example for us to follow in hopes of being more like HIM. John warned of antichrists who had and would come by which we would know that it is the last time (1st.John 2:18). He wrote that the "spirit of antichrist" was already in the world in his day (1st.John 4:3) and urged his readers to "believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of GOD: because many false prophets are gone out into the world" (1st.John 4:1). Heed the HOLY SPIRIT's warning ! JED
